Spokesman for Prime Minister: Libyan-Tunisian relations are fraternal relations, and look forward to more effective relations.

Tripoli, 18 March, 2021 (Lana) - The spokesman for the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Mohamed Hammouda, said that the Libyan-Tunisian relations throughout history have been brotherly relations. Hammouda confirmed in a statement to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed channel, Thursday, that Libya is looking forward to stronger and more effective relations between the two brotherly countries. He added that Tunisia had a positive role in the Libyan scene, and it was the safe place for Libyans in recent years during the wars and crises that faced Libya. "Hammouda" spoke of a beneficial, and positive relationship for both parties, saying, "We complement each other," pointing out that there are things that Libya possesses of interest that Tunisia may need, and vice versa.

 The spokesman for the head of the national unity government said that the idea of the Maghreb Union that the Tunisian president talked about on the sidelines of his visit to Libya is an idea that is always present in the consciousness of Great Maghreb people, as it is the dream that was and still plagues all politicians and peoples, stressing that the leaders must renew this dream so that it becomes Fact.
