Wagner mercenaries backup their forces in Libya with 25 young Syrians this week.

Tripoli, March 5, 2021 (LANA) - The Syrian 'Capital Voice' site, said, that the Russian mercenary forces (Wagner) stationed in Syria had transferred this week, a new batch of people from Eastern Ghouta to fight in Libya.

The website stated that the group that was recently transferred includes about 25 young men from the cities and towns of Eastern Ghouta after they underwent a training course in a Russian camp before they were transferred to the (Hmeimim) military base, and from there to Libya under combat contracts for five months for 1,200 US dollars per month for each individual.

The site indicated that all contracts were organized under the auspices of intermediaries for the Russian security company (Wagner). According to the site's sources, the Russian forces informed the members of the new group that their mission is limited to protecting oil installations in Libya, without participating in any of the military operations.

The website also mentioned that several previous batches were transferred during the past year 2020, the number of which ranged between 25 and 65 fighters from the city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta to the Libyan city of Benghazi through Damascus International Airport, in addition to dozens of settlement forces in southern Damascus in the form of three Payments of $ 1,000 per fighter, in addition to giving them cards issued by the Hmeimim military base under the name "Friends of Russia Card", which protects its holder from any security questioning or arrest for any purpose whatsoever.
