workshop in Nalut to combat hate speech.

 Nalut, 3 March, 2021 (Lana) - The city of Nalut recently hosted a workshop to combat hate speech under the title "Supporting and countering bonds", under the supervision of the Peacebuilders Network. The workshop targeted a group of media professionals, bloggers and activists from the civil society in the city. The workshop aims to launch a large media campaign against hate speech and to spread the speech of tolerance and reconciliation. 

 The Deputy Chairman of the General Assembly of the Peace Makers Network, Ali Muhammad Muhalhal, told Lana correspondent that the network has implemented a number of workshops in Nalut, Tripoli, Zuwara, Bani Walid, Ghat, Ubari, Sebha, Benghazi, Marj, Tobruk, Al-Bayda and Al-Jufra, and it seeks to target other new areas in all parts of Libya.

‘The Peacemaker Network aims to spread the values of tolerance, settle disputes and reconciliation between the sects of Libyan society, sow seeds of love, and help state institutions in support of societal stability’ he added.
