Preparations for the launch of the Coronavirus vaccination campaign nationwide.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 1 March, 2021 (Lana) - The Steering Committee for the Coronavirus Vaccination Campaign held its first meeting in the meeting room of the National Center for Disease Control, Suk AlGouma Branch in order to prepare for the launch of the Coronavirus vaccination campaign nationwide.
The center’s media office stated in a post on its official Facebook page that the meeting was chaired by the center’s Director General, Badr al-Din al-Najjar, in the presence of the members of the steering committee and with the participation of delegates from the World Health Organization office in Libya, the UNICEF office in Libya, and the International Organization for Migration office in Libya.
The attendees reviewed the current epidemiological situation in Libya, as well as reviewing the action plan, supervising the campaign, and reviewing reports on the evaluation of the cold cycle in Libya.
The meeting agreed to prepare urgent solutions to identify and provide the needs of the campaign, and to direct training of medical and auxiliary medical personnel and technicians on vaccination against the Corona virus.
