The Search and Identification of Missing Persons Authority announces identification of (7) corpses using DNA technology.

Tripoli, 28 February, 2021 (Lana) - The Laboratories Department of the Public Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced that it had succeeded in identifying 7 unidentified bodies after the procedures of "DNA analysis, matching them with DNA samples" received from the families of the missing.  

The authority said on its official website that after a great effort from the authority's cadres  and in accordance with the highest scientific and international standards, the bodies of the missing persons were identified through DNA analysis.

 The Presidency of the Commission congratulated all its technical and administrative staff on their success in reaching this results, which in turn are reflected in alleviating the suffering of the families of the missing.
