 Tripoli, February 24, 2021 (LANA) - The President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, met today, Wednesday, accompanied by the First Deputy “Muhammad Baqi,” the Second Representative, “Safwan Al-Masuri,” the head of the new Presidency Council, “Muhammad Al-Mnifi,” and his deputy, “Musa Al-Koni”.

     The meeting, which was attended by the reporter of the Supreme Council of State, Saeed Kallah, discussed the latest developments in the political arena in Libya, and the exchange of views on the next stage, and the process of granting confidence to the national unity government.

   During the meeting, Al-Mishri stressed the need for the government to be formed on the basis of competencies, taking into account geographical distribution, demanding that the Prime Minister be given sufficient freedom to choose his government staff without any pressure, and to implement what was agreed upon in the roadmap in order to reach the elections on time.
