Kingdom of Norway welcomes results of Geneva meeting.
Pulbished on:Oslo, 7 February, 2021 (Lana) - The government of the Kingdom of Norway welcomed and voiced support for the results achieved by the Libyan National Dialogue Forum in the Geneva City on Friday, with the formation of an executive authority and the election of a new president for the Presidency Council and a prime minister.
A statement issued by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described what happened in Geneva ‘an important step as the Dialogue Forum elected an interim government’.
Norway looks forward to cooperating with the National Unity Government, and appreciates the tireless efforts it is making).
