Minister of Economy and Industry grants permission to launch the commercial electronic registry system.

Tripoli, 3 February, 2021 (Lana) Minister of Economy and Industry, Faraj Boumtari, launched Wednesday, at the ministry’s headquarters, electronic commercial register system, in the presence of Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation. And according to the Ministry, the first article of the decision stipulated that the General Commercial Registry Office, through local commercial registries, would be given the activation of the electronic commercial registry system.  

The Ministry confirmed that the system - which was supervised by the Documentation and Economic Information Center in the Ministry - will be linked to the system of contract writers at the Ministry of Justice and the Documentation Center at the Ministry of Labour, in addition to opening information windows for the Central Bank of Libya and the customs and tax authorities.
