Tripoli, January 27, 2021 (Lana) - Head of the Supreme Council of State Khaled Al-Mishri discussed with the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum and his accompanying delegation, the latest developments in Libya and the paths of dialogue and the referendum on the constitution, in addition to the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them.

This came during a meeting held today at the council’s headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the two vice-presidents of the council, "Muhammad Baqi" and "Safwan Al-Masuri," and the council's reporter, "Saeed Kala".

Al-Meshri stressed during the meeting the importance of neighboring Algeria's role in the national reconciliation file, given its good relations with all Libyan parties.

For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister stressed that his country is counting on the unity of the Libyans to confront foreign interference, and that Algeria cannot leave Libya alone, expressing Algeria's welcome and willingness to open this path due to the similar experience Algeria has gone through in this file.
