Tripoli, 27 January, 2021 (Lana) -- President of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Mr. Faez Al-Sarraj, received Wednesday morning at his office in Tripoli, The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Libya, Lee Sang-su.

  The President of the Presidential Council said that he looks forward to the contribution of Korea and other friendly countries in the stage of construction and development, where the Government of National Accord is working to drive the economy and development effectively. He pointed out that the time has become appropriate for the contribution of Korean companies at this stage, and to accelerate the return of such companies to the completion of contracted projects, especially in the field of electricity, as agreed upon in previous meetings.

  The Korean ambassador stressed his country's interest in developing cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields. He said that Korean companies have successful experiences in Libya, and are keen to meet their commitments and complete the implementation of their contracts as soon as possible, and contribute effectively to service projects, especially electricity projects, in addition to various development projects.
