Tripoli, January 26, 2021 (LANA) - The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, expressed fears that any additional closure of the Libyan energy sector would harm all Libyans.

According to Ambassador Richard Norland's tweet on the US embassy account on the social networking site, Twitter, these concerns were conveyed to Mustafa Sanallah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, during their meeting on Monday.

It is noteworthy that the Petroleum Facilities Guards closed the Harika oil port in Tobruk, last Sunday, in protest at the delay in the payment of their salaries by the oil company.
