Tripoli, January 26, 2021 (LANA) - The President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord, Fayez Al-Sarraj, met today, Tuesday, with the Minister of Finance Faraj Boumatari, Head of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Electricity Company, Wiam Al-Abdali, and Director General of the company Ibrahim Al-Falah.

The meeting discussed the possibility of creating work mechanisms that expedite the provision of financial requirements, overcome obstacles to programs to cover the deficit in electricity supply, and plans to increase production capacity, and accelerate the implementation of projects for overhauls, maintenance and new production, to overcome, even partially, the electricity problem and alleviate its severity during the coming summer.
