President of the Presidential Council receives credentials of 4 new ambassadors to Libya.

 Tripoli, 23 January, 2021 (Lana) - The President of the Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord, Mr. Faiz Al-Sarraj, Saturday, 

accredited four new ambassadors to Libya.  

In a ceremony attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Taher Siala, the President received the credentials of both His Excellency Ambassador Nermin Mishinovic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, His Excellency Lee Sang Su as Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of Korea, and His Excellency Ambassador Alfred Jacob as the Extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda And His Excellency Ambassador Mohammad Reza Raouf Shaibani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Accredited ambassadors delivered speeches on the occasion, during which they conveyed the greetings of their leaders, and expressed their thanks to the President of the Presidential Council for the good reception, hospitality and acceptance of their credentials, stressing the depth of the friendship between their countries and Libya, and their support for efforts to achieve peace and stability, and the ambassadors expressed their aspiration to work for development of bilateral relations and cooperation.

For his part, the President welcomed the new ambassadors, expressing his happiness at receiving their credentials, appreciating the stances of their countries in support of the democratic path and efforts to achieve security and stability in Libya.

 The President expressed his hope that the new ambassadors would work to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation in various fields, in a way that serves the common interests between Libya and their countries.
