Tripoli, 18 January, 2021 (Lana) - Head of the Libyan Information Authority, Muhammad Baiu, agreed with the head of the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Muhammad al-Abani, to work for the launch of Al-Hedaya channel that focuses on religious affairs.
This came during the visit that “Baiu” made, Monday, to the headquarters of the Authority in Tripoli and his meeting with “Al-Abani,” which focused on aspects of cooperation and integration between both authority to serve the nation and society through the media and other information platforms in a way conducive to stability and peace in Libyan Muslim community and transmits to public opinion facts as they are without distortion.
Al-Abani" accompanied him in a tour of some of the authority's departments and facilities. Baiu was also briefed on the diligent work of the authority’s employees in order to document and preserve endowments and their supporting documents, some of which date back to over a century.
At the end of his visit, the head of the Libyan Information Authority praised the sincere efforts made by the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs, its staff and Director General to serve the community and the state and preserve the endowment, which is the right of Allah and a benefit to the people, which we must all preserve, and protect.
