UNSMIL Calls for New Session of Libyan Dialogue Forum.

Tripoli, 30 December 2020(Lana) The Libyan News Agency has learnt that members of the Libyan Dialogue Forum will hold a new meeting on Wednesday via tele-conferencing, to discuss the latest developments of the political process. Informed sources told Lana the meeting was in response to a letter addressed by the UN Support Mission in Libya to the members. The sources said the meeting, to start at 16:00 local time 14:00 GMT, would discuss the latest developments of the dialogue and the next steps without elaborating. The Political Dialogue Forum which includes 75 members of whom 26 representing the House of Representatives and the High Council of State, is convening at close intervals with the aim of reaching a settlement to end the political division and select an executive authority. The first round of the talks held in Tunis in mid-November has announced that an agreement had been reached on holding general elections on December 24, 2021. =Lana=
