Tripoli, November 28, 2020 (Lana) - The Acting Representative of
the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Stephanie
Williams, said that great progress was made at the Libyan Political
Dialogue Forum in Tunisia, and that the talks had seen 70% of the
difficulties overcome in order to reach the solution that the Libyans
are looking for.
The UN envoy added in a television interview on Friday, saying, "All
Libyan parties now speak the language of peace instead of war, and
the Libyan people have begun to unite through discussions about the
future of their country," stressing that those obstructing the
political process in Libya will pay the price for their actions.
