New York, September 28, 2020 (LANA) - Moroccan Prime Minister Saad Eddin El Othmani affirmed his country's commitment to providing a neutral framework for dialogue between the Libyan parties, two days before the start of the second round of Bouznika sessions. Al-Othmani stressed in his speech during the hypothetical general debate of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, his country's continuous support for the Libyan dialogue, considering that the security of the Kingdom of Morocco is the security of Libya, a friendly country with which we share a common history and destiny. He added that the solution to the Libyan crisis can only be through political means and from the Libyans themselves, away from foreign interference and agendas, which was demonstrated by the Skhirat meeting, with the support of the international community. And Al-Othmani stressed that Morocco remains committed to providing a neutral framework for dialogue between the Libyan parties, indicating that his country embraced the meetings between the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State a few days ago. It was decided to resume the second round of the Libyan dialogue sessions, today, Sunday, in Bouznika, before being postponed to Tuesday for logistical reasons, the nature of which has not been determined, according to Moroccan media. ...(LANA)...
