NDCC: 226 New COVID 19 Cases, 2 Recoveries 10 Deaths.

Tripoli, 4 August 2020(Lana) The National Disease Control Centre on Monday announced a new surge of Corona Virus Cases in Libya, with 226 new cases, bringing the total number to 4063, of which 3345 active cases. In a release published on its SMS Page, NDCC said the reported cases were distributed as follows: 1-Tripoli: -45 new cases - 3 Contacting cases Total 48, tested at Community Health Reference Lab in Tripoli and Tripoli University Hospital 2-Janzour: -1 contacting case -1 new case Total 2 cases, tested at Community Health Reference Lab and Tripoli University Hospital 3-Tarhouna -1 new case Total 1 case tested at Tripoli University Hospital 4- Senoun -1 new case Total 1 new case Total 1 case tested at Community Health Reference Lab 5-Al Zawiyah - 6 contacting cases -2 new cases Total 8 cases tested at Community Health Reference Lab 6- Misrata -11 new cases -92 contacting cases Total 103 tested at Community Health Reference Lab Misrata branch 7-Sebha -11 new cases -13 contacting cases Total 24 at Community Health Reference Lab Sebha branch 8-Benghazi -9new cases Total 9 cases tested Benghazi Medical Centre Lab Tobruk: -10 new cases Total 10 tested Benghazi Medical Centre Lab 9- Sirte -7 new cases Total 7 cases tested Benghazi Medical Centre Lab The NDCC said in its release carrying the number of 149 that two cases of recovery were registered in Misrata, bringing the total number of recoveries to 625. It also said that 10 new deaths have been registered including: - 1 case in Misrata - 1 case in Al Sha'ti -1 case in Semnou - 4 cases in Bint Biya - 1 case in Al Fjaij - 1 case in Al Ghreifa - 2 cases in Benghazi - 1 case in Tobrok - 1 case in Sirte According to NDCC this brings to 4063 the number of infections across the country, including 3345 active cases, 625 recoveries and 93 deaths. =Lana=
