Italian Foreign Minister: EU Approves Mission to Prevent Weapons Entering Libya.

Di Maio on Monday said EU countries have agreed to launch of a
mission to prevent arms entering into Libya, following talks between
the 27 block Foreign Ministers in Brussels.
'European Union is committed to an air and Sea mission, and there
is some of it on the ground to ban weapons into Libya, Di Maio said,
adding that the mission was not a revival of Sofia Operation, but it
will be deployed on the eastern coast of Libya, and EU member states
have agreed to provide 7 warplanes and 7 boats to carry out the
mission.
