US State Department: US and Egyptian Foreign Ministers Stress Importance of Political Solution in Libya.

Washington, 20 August 2019(Lana) The American and Egyptian
Foreign Ministers have underlined the importance of bringing about a
political solution to the crisis in Libya.
This came at a telephone discussion conducted by US Secretary of
State Mike Pompeo and his Egyptian Counterpart Sameh Shukri,
according to Reuters.
US State Department Spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus said Pompeo expressed
on the phone Us concerns over the ongoing conflict in Libya',
indicating that the Ministers have agreed on the need to bring about
a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
A statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry has only said
the phone conversation dealt with crises in Syria, Yemen and Libya.
