Jheinawi: Ongoing War Has Dire Consequences on Tripoli and the Region.

Tunis, 23 April 2019(Lana) Tunisian Foreign Minister has said
that the ongoing war in Libya would have dire consequences on the
capital Tripoli and regional countries.
Tunisia has an interest in getting things back to normal in
Libya, Jheinawi said after a meeting with the UN Special Envoy to
Libya Ghasan Salama.
He said his country was committed to the UN- sponsored political
process, the best and only option for Libya.
The UN Envoy said ending the crisis in Libya hinges on a true
will for Libyans to restore peace and stability in their country,
along with efforts being made by the international community.
If the will is there Libyans will be able to stop the war and get
the country back together, Salama said.
The UN Envoy said Tunisia provides a significant support for
UNSMIL to continue its work in Libya.
