Crisis and Refugees Affairs Committee Meets to Discuss Displaced in the Capital.

Tripoli, 14 April 2019(Lana) The Ministry of Social Affairs Crisis and Refugees Affairs Committee has met to discuss means of providing for the displaced in the capital Tripoli. The meeting was chaired by Majed Sreiti, Deputy Chairman of the Committee and attended by the Deputy Chairman Abdul Latif Al Hamouri and members of the committee. The meeting was devoted to measures that have to be taken to alleviate the suffering of the displaced families in the areas of clashes. It was decided that some locations would be used as accommodation places for the displaced which included a student hostel in Al Furnaj area and some schools in which study was suspended due to the security situation in the capital. The Committee underlined the importance of coordinating with Municipalities, the Health Ministry, the Red Crescent Organisation, the Boy Scout and other civil society organisations to facilitate the movement of displaced families to the accommodation places in various areas. =Lana=
